Holidaymakers might not have heard of this secret gem – a small harbour village in Greece.
This hidden spot often gets overshadowed by the more famous island of Corfu, but it has everything you’d want for a perfect seaside holiday.
Even though this tiny village isn’t one of the main tourist spots in Greece, it’s a favourite stop for people on sailing trips around the Ionian Sea.

Sivota is located in the Epirus region of Greece, close to other popular beach towns like Praga, and is slowly creeping up on social media!
That’s mostly because of its beautiful beaches, green coastline, and clear, sparkling waters.
The village is surrounded by small islands, like Mavro Oros and Agios Nikolaos, which make it even more special!

There are lots of beaches you can walk to from Sivota, like the famous Bella Vraka Beach.
To get to Bella Vraka, beach-goers need to wade through shallow waters, as it’s actually on a little island called Mourtemeno.
Other nearby beaches include Mega Ammos Beach, which is great for snorkelling, and Zavia Beach.
Gallikos Molos Beach is the closest beach to Sivota and has the best facilities, including a beach bar for snacks and drinks.
